TOP 5 spots to visit this Labour Day

Yay!!! We finally have a long weekend after months and months of a very cold and wet winter.
Why not hop into your family vehicle and take in some of the fantastic spots our wonderful region has to offer.

We have 5 recommendations of our own for where you might like to visit:

1. BRICK BAY WINERY - WARKWORTH

How about a visit to Brick Bay in Warkworth? This beautiful winery also has a unique 2km, ever changing, sculpture trail, which is well worth a visit. Allow about 1 hour to explore this trail.

2. BRIDGEHOUSE LODGE – WARKWORTH

For a bit of history and very fine food, the Bridgehouse Lodge in Warkworth is highly recommended by one of our sales team, Jeff. The Bridgehouse Lodge was the first building in Warkworth, and although additions and alterations have been made, the character and ambiance has been created over the past one hundred and fifty years. The food is outstanding, and surroundings very lovely.

5. NORTH SHORE COASTAL WALK

For something a little bit closer to town, the North Shore Coastal Walk is a real must do!  This walk stretches 23kms from Long bay through the suburbs of the North Shore to Devonport.  If you’re not up to a 7 hour walk, you can do a shorter section of the route. Simon Lucas, our managing director says that the best short North Shore beach walk is Milford to Takapuna Beach and stopping at the end for an ice-cream and coffee is their favourite treat.
