We are open for contactless business

We’re so excited to welcome you back as Auckland has moved to Alert Level 3 from today, Wednesday, 22nd September. As always, we will continue to responsibly and safely do business and look after our customers and our staff. 

Our dealership will be open during our normal hours and we will offer contactless servicing and parts, new and used vehicle sales and finance. 

We’re are responsible for keeping our staff and customers safe and healthy during these challenging times so here are the safety measures we will take during Alert Level 3. 

 

Booking your Mitsubishi in for its Service 

We have already contacted our customers who had a service booking during Alert Level 4 and asked them to re-schedule at a convenient time during the next period. If you haven’t received our email, please get in touch with us directly at [email protected] 

  

If you book in your service and start to feel unwell, please stay home, contact us prior to your service and we can re-schedule it for a later date. 

 

Contactless servicing at Simon Lucas Mitsubishi 

Under the Alert Level 3 safety requirements, all car servicing will be contactless. This means: 

 

  • You will drop your vehicle off at the Dealership at a prearranged time. 
  • Leave your keys inside the vehicle. 
  • Scan our NZ COVID Tracer app poster on the window to keep track of where you’ve been. 
  • With the building unfortunately not open to the public, please get picked up or we can arrange (by appointment) for a sanitised vehicle to be sat in while we carry out repairs.  
  • When you come back to collect your vehicle, you will find your keys in the vehicle. 
  • Payment for your service will also be contactless. 

 

You will receive an email the day before your booking detailing 'what to expect' so we're all prepared. 

 

Hygiene measures we’re taking: 

  • On drop off and just before collection, all vehicle touchpoints will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to ensure your safety. 
  • Our facilities will undergo a daily rigorous cleaning of all surfaces and common areas with sanitising sprays. 
  • Our service team will wear masks and sanitise their hands prior to contact with you at all times, as well as observing all social distancing requirements. 

 

Buying your new Mitsubishi or used car 

Same safety measures and protocols detailed above will be applied by our sales team as well, so please rest assured that your safety is in good hands when buying a vehicle from us: 

 

  • Please book an appointment first, if you would like to take a new Mitsubishi or a used car for a test drive.
  • We can arrange for you to pick up the vehicle from the dealership 100% contactless. 
  • All enquiries will be responded to remotely by email or phone. 
  • Contactless vehicle delivery is also available. 
  • All trade-in appraisals or finance discussions will be conducted remotely – either by email or phone.
